QLOCKTWO MOON
QLOCKTWO MOON is a mechanical moon phase indicator that can accurately display 28 different states of the current moon phase with the help of 14 axially driven prisms. Since the moon needs just over 29 days for a complete change from full moon to full moon, this corresponds to approximately one change of state per day.
The prisms have three sides. Each plane of one side can be rotated forward via motors and thus becomes visible. The three planes are used to
1. the illuminated moon
2. the unlit moon and
3. a neutral background surface.
If all planes of a side are turned to the front this corresponds to
1. the full moon
2. the disk-shaped new moon and
3. the neutral invisible new moon and the background surface, respectively.
The QLOCKTWO MOON has a perpetual calendar.
So it never has to be adjusted or reset.
However, this could be done manually or via QLOCKTWO Flashsetter possible.
The QLOCKTWO MOON has an extremely low power consumption. With the help of the built-in energy storage, it can be operated for more than a year without active power supply.
If the energy storage is exhausted, it can be conveniently recharged with the supplied accessories.
Of course, it is also possible to connect the QLOCKTWO MOON permanently to an energy source.
In Night Mode, the QLOCKTWO MOON is inactive. Thus, the moon phase does not change in the period from 10 pm in the evening and 8 am in the morning.
Decide if you want to see the shadow of the waning moon, or if you prefer to view the minimalist moon alone.
All components of QLOCKTWO MOON are designed for durability and longevity. For example, the motors have metal gears and the base frame for the mechanics is also made of solid metal. QLOCKTWO MOON is technically designed to accompany its owner for a lifetime.
